ANTI-SAPSTAIN / ANTI-MOULD TREATMENT FOR TOPRO 94 (BORATE) AND FLAMBOR-TREATED TIMBER

 
Description:

BLUPRO ADZ is a highly concentrated water-dispersible liquid formulation that contains active ingredients to prevent development of sapstain fungi and mould growth on TOPRO 94-treated timber during diffusion storage. It is generally applied to TOPRO 94- treated timber before diffusion storage and preferably within 12 hours after dip treatment.

BLUPRO ADZ is also used as an additive to TOPRO 94 (borate) and FLAMBOR working solutions which are applied by pressure impregnation to ensure that the treated timber remains free from mould growth and fungal discolouration and retains a “clean” natural colour and appearance during transport, storage and use.

Use Restriction:

Only to be used and applied in accordance with label warnings, precautions and directions for use.

 
Application:

The diluted product can be applied to timber by dip or spray methods, or the concentrate can be added directly to working solutions prepared for pressure impregnation

 
Application Rates:

(i) Dip/spray application: (working solution): " 0,1 per m2 (round timber) to " 0,3 per m 2 (sawn timber).
(ii) Pressure impregnation: (working solution): 200 to 400 per m3.

(i) Dip/spray application: (post treatment):·

  • Sawn boards: 1 part BLUPRO ADZ to 166 parts water·
  • Poles and logs: 1 part BLUPRO ADZ to 127 parts water
(ii) Pressure impregnation: (one-step additive treatment):
Typically 0,75 ml to 1,5 ml BLUPRO ADZ per R of TOPRO 94 or FLAMBOR working solution to achieve 0,3 BLUPRO ADZ per m3.

 

Storage:

 

 Storage temperatures should not exceed 35 - 40°C. Product may require stirring prior to use to ensure uniformity.
