| SATINDIP
SatinDip is a high quality, solvent-based penetrating sealer that
protects raw (uncoated) wood against water ingress, surface degradation and contamination.
The special blend of drying oils and water repellent wax components deeply penetrates,
stabilizes and nourishes the wood. It therefore acts as a transit stabilizer and
protective sealer that prevents excessive checking and splitting of pre-manufactured
timber products during transport and storage and also repels waste splashes during building
construction. SatinDip dries to a satin-like, translucent finish that does not flake or
peel.
SatinDip can be used as a high quality transit stabilizer and base coat
that gives you better penetration in hardwoods and non-porous timbers. If additional
insecticidal and fungicidal protection is required, Satinwood 28 Base should be used.
Satinwood 28/28 Base is recommended as the final protective finish and
maintenance system. Satinwood 28/28 Base contains additional insecticidal and fungicidal
additives that provide added protection against woodborer and termite attack as well
as mould growth and fungal discolouration, respectively.
